And of course in our society we have all kinds of people coming in devotional service. Sometimes we have people coming from the heavenly planets or sometimes there are people who are like prostitutes celestial or heavenly nymphs. Both men women. So you can have that kind of consciousness that is not from the physical body where they are. So we must be careful to partner the right way for us to do our part to maintain an adequate standard. Otherwise we will be very disturbed, disappointed, and we can not properly appreciate the devotional service. And if we are not careful, we find ourselves suffering, and if we are not careful we're going to give suffering to our gurus.
What's in your conscience, is what you're offering your spiritual teacher. Based on what you're offering, you're asking him to offer it to his spiritual master. The disciples are like flowers, put them together and become a wreath. So you are offering to his guru, to provide a type of garland to your guru. Your guru does not want to present something that he can not adequately provide the spiritual master. If you love him properly then you will give you what you can offer in the right way. Today there are many worldly romance between guru and disciple. And this is bringing some of the falls. For both people.
